The Concert Room is a podcast session dedicated to the performances, performers, bands, and artists who played on the stage at the legendary Philadelphia Spectrum Arena. The Spectrum held numerous concerts every 45 years of existence, earning the nickname American Showplay. And today I'm going to do part two of honoring and remembering Holly Gosper.

0:57 SPEAKER_00: However, with the live performances, with the Jewel Ozzy's legendary career journey. So if you saw Ozzy live either with uh solo tour, uh I believe you were lucky enough to ensure the concert standing out of your favorite memory. So speaking of which, performance, I have you have a fan favorite now. This is taken from a show in 1989 at the Tower Theatre, which is a legendary video right outside of Philadelphia located in Army.

1:31 SPEAKER_00: And uh also the same action that played at the tower. Also rolled in through the spectrum at one time or another.

1:43 SPEAKER_00: And uh also Ozzy played the tower in 1981 with Randy Rose. So this performance was on June 4th, 1989, on the No Rush for the Wicked Tour. The band is Randy Castillo, Teaser Butler, Zach Wilde, and of course Ozzy up front. This is Flying High Again, live at the tower.

Uh he was so great in concert and uh always sounded really good, always consistent with his vocals, and uh he will be sorely missed, but we are thankful for all the great music Ozzie left us. Going back to the beginning with Sabbath all the way up to his recent performances, including that great tribute concert last week. So rest in peace, Ozzy, and we thank you for the music.
